OpenHIE DATIM4U Project
This project is designed to support the OpenHIE DATIM4U and its interactions with DATIM Global.
Background
This project is being developed to support PEPFAR aggregate reporting, however many of the workflows and software features can be applied to more generic use cases.
The Solution
OpenHIE will be used to support aggregate data transactions that enable a country or an organization to send required indicator data to PEPFAR via an aggregate data transaction (ADX message). In addition to supporting the aggregate data exchange, metadata required to provide semantic interoperability is also being exchanged using the OpenHIE architecture and workflows.
How It Works
In this instance, an OpenHIE installation package will be available to sites that need to report data to PEPFAR. Those sites will be able to install OpenHIE components and a configuration necessary to support transmitting the aggregate data to PEPFAR's OpenHIE-based system. Help will also be available for implementers who desire to utilize their existing infrastructures to transmit data to PEPFAR.
