Background
The Management Information System (MIS) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) with in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW) took on an initiative to develop ehealth standards and an inter-operability framework for use in the database systems developed or to be developed by the health organizations and programs under the MOHFW and other ministries.
