The purpose of the Planning and Implementation Guides, is to provide guidance for a team or individual responsible for the end-to-end implementation of one or more of the architecture components. The guides are intended to help teams think through the nuances and specific decisions required to implement each architecture component. They are intended to be living documents that are informed by past experiences and practices, promoted by OHIE and documented from ongoing implementations. (e.g., Rwanda) Because it is based upon implementation experiences the guide is a living document that will be updated based upon the experience and feedback of implementers. They are intended as a framework that can be adapted to a specific context. They are not intended to detail every aspect of running an information technology project.
