Enjoy using your OpenHIE community wiki.
OpenHIE Announcements - low volume (read: 1-2 emails a month), high membership list for people interested in following the progress of the community
FRED Community - used for all facility registry community communications
OpenEMPI Community - used for all client registry community communications
Provider Registry Community - used for all client registry communications
In this section:
Facility Registry Expansion Development (FRED) - is a community designing and implementing a reference model for a universal facility registry service. The facility registry service will interoperate with existing key e/mHealth tools in multiple countries to improve the availability and quality of information about health service facilities.
Enterprise Master Patient Index (OpenEMPI) - is an open source community which designs and implements a repository that maintains a registry of all patients across an enterprise, also known as a client registry. The key functionality provided by an EMPI is its ability to identify matching patient registration records and link them together so they create one patient record.
Provider Registry Community?
Health Information Mediator (OpenHIM) - is a community of implementers and developers that support the open source health information mediator system. This system was built to facilitate interoperability between disparate health information systems to ease the burden of implementing interoperability and to help enable clinical information sharing between clinicians in real world projects.
