Agenda:
·        Welcome
·        Final data element code lists for FY17 targets
·        Updates to the data import validation scripts
·        Open Discussion
Minutes:
  • Final data element code lists for FY17 targets
  • Released right before this call the week before. Were sent via the google group.
  • Not expecting any updates to the code lists - if there are any questions please reach out.
  • Terry - Gender GBV question, there is a violent service type for PEP which should not be included. Dana will check to see if they can get this updated.
  • Terry - the attribute combo UIDs and how they were linked to each mechanism isn't on DATIM anymore. Dana/Jason will look into this.
  • More updates to come on future code lists - no timeline on this at the moment.
  • Please send Lon Gowen, lgowen@usaid.gov and Elizabeth Meacham (I-TECH), emeacham@uw.edu, the data-element code lists for targets and FY16 Results (no longer on DATIM site).  Thanks!
  • Upload FY16 results code list on DATIM support page.
  • Updates to Data validation scripts:
  • Extension to new data sets (including SIMS, etc)
  • Improved data value validation
  • New functions for checking data element /orgunit compliance
  • Improved behavior on Windows
  • Send data a week prior to the deadline and feedback will be provided on data validations and if any changes are needed.
  • If you're using the scripts it is really important to update the scripts from the source code repository
  • If issues are found in the R codes/scripts it would be helpful to post it as an issue in the source code repository if the issue is technical. If the issue is programmatic, it can go through the helpdesk.
