Release Process for OpenHIE V1.0
The community intends to learn from OpenHIE V1.0 and mature the process. The initial release process was formed and discussed in several of the OpenHIE meetings. The following community meetings were key in the formation and development of the OpenHIE V1.0 release planning. This page serves to document the OpenHIE V1.0 process.
OpenHIE V1.0 Release Criteria:
The following criteria were defined for OpenHIE V1.0.
This release will have workflow specifications
Workflow must have a sponsor
Workflow must be documented
Workflow must have one or more reference implementations
Workflow must be tested at the component level which includes IHE testing when applicable before pencils down
2. The release also has other applicable documentation
OpenHIE V1.0 Process and timeline:
The following is a general outline of the timing for OpenHIE V1.0:
Sept 12 - Architecture community voted on workflows to be included
Nov. 30th – “Pencil’s down” - workflows and individual software components will be completed
Nov. – March - IHE testing, software and workflow modifications.
April and May Integration Testing
May 15 – go live
