Joining the eHealth Leadership Forum

The typical example of an eHLF community member is a digital health leader either designated by a country MOH or related national level organization.  They tend to be more strategically focused, and serve in an oversight and coordinative role at a regional or national level. Leadership can be defined differently depending on the local context.  Examples of great fits for this community include national government digital health leaders, leaders within recognized regional bodies, country level & regional level WHO Offices, as well as any team leaders responsible for in country implementations related to OpenHIE. We We know that leadership within countries is unique to each specific country. No matter the circumstances, we encourage those who are formally representing country leadership and helping to design eHealth strategies to reach out to the OpenHIE Secretariat to learn more. Existing members of the eHLF are expected to commit to at least 1 hour per month as well as also assist with recruiting new members.

The OpenHIE secretariat supports call logistics and the hosting space for documentation, but topics for discussion are determined & lead by those memebers members that are providing in country leadership.

Are you interested in being a part of the Forum? Great!

The secretariat works to coordinate scheduling of meetings & meeting agenda in consultation with the Chair. The OpenHIE secretariat needs help from members to identify other peers who might benefit the forum which is why existing members are expected to assist in recruiting/ recommending new members.
