The OpenHIE Shared Health Record projects Community (OHIE-SHR) project aims to enable the collection and storage of electronic health information about individual patients capable of being shared across different healthcare settings. Key activities of this initial phase are to perform a critical review of the architecture and technologies used in the development of the RHEA implementation of the SHR components, as well as a comprehensive review of alternatives, to ensure due diligence.

Initially, the SHR and the Interoperability Layer discussions took place on one call as the overall approach and methodology was discussed, but from May 2013 these are now two separate calls which alternate on a weekly basis. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PARTICIPANT CODE FOR THE SHR CALL HAS CHANGED - See access code belowPlease see access the "Meetings / Calls" quick list on the right.

The two working documents for capturing requirements, use cases and design are :

  • Interoperability Layer Community Documentation
  • at Shared Health Record Community Documentation

There is also a  Github repository, which are intended as open collaborative work spaces for all interested parties to add to this work.
