OpenHIE Community Leads Call
The OpenHIE Community Leads call is operationally focused and is for individuals who are working to spearhead the development of each OpenHIE sub-community.
When?

OpenHIE Community Call
OpenHIE is about helping resource-constrained environments leverage their electronic health information by standardizing it. The OpenHIE Community call is available to anyone and is general in nature. The call is for updates on work that has happened or is intended, and can be used as one on one overview for what OpenHIE is (on demand). You can join the OpenHIE Announcments Google group to receive general new and information related to OpenHIE as well as community call reminders.

Interoperability Layer Community Call
The OHIE Interoperability Layer project aims to enables easier interoperability between Health Information Systems. Key activities of this initial phase are to perform a critical review of the architecture and technologies used in the development of the RHEA implementation of these HIE components, as well as a comprehensive review of alternatives, and to recommend a way ahead for the Interoperability Layer within OpenHIE.

Shared Health Record Community
The Shared Health Record projects aims to enable the collection and storage of electronic health information about individual patients capable of being shared across different healthcare settings. Key activities of this initial phase are to perform a critical review of the architecture and define the use cases and core requirements for a SHR as well as review the technologies used in the development of the RHEA implementation of the SHR components and perform a comprehensive review of alternatives.

Terminology Services Community Call
The Terminology Service serves as a central authority to uniquely identify the clinical activities that occur within the care delivery process by maintaining a terminology set mapped to international standards such as ICO10, LOINC, SNOMED, and others – It is the “What?” in the OpenHIE architecture.
The Mission of the Terminology Services Community is to promote and support the effective capture, exchange (interoperability) and analysis (comparison and aggregation) of clinical information among components of the HIE. Our efforts include the documentation of principles, processes, interfaces and tools that support the mission.

Facility Registry Community Calls
The OHIE - Facility Registry community supports implementers and technologist to plan for, create, and support national health facility registries. The group is organized into technical and implementation based meetings via Google Hangouts. Please join the facility registry google group to get routine updates, event reminders and links to the google hangouts. All are welcome to join either of the routine meetings, but content is focused towards the specific needs of each group.
