On Januray 22-24, 2014 a hackathon was held at Regenstrief Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana USA. The goal of this event was to bring together computer programmers and others involved in software development to collaborate intensively on enhance OpenHIE's architecture.

- Prepare for NA Connectathon (Monday - Friday, January 27 - 31, 2014)
- Make critical architecture decisions about how OpenHIE works
- Design 2014 Architecture Plan
