The following describes the proposed uses the discrete data stored in the SHR:

  • For clinical decisions support
  • Creation of medical summaries for a patient
    • This could be a feature of the SHR where as new documents are saved, medical summary documents can be produced and registered with the SHR
  • Aggregation of data for reporting purposes
